Here's how much money Trump and Biden raised in the Houston suburbs - Houston Chronicle

President Donald Trump has raised nearly twice as much money from Texans compared to Democratic challenger Joe Biden,  the Houston Chronicle reported, and the case is the same for most Houston-area suburbs, data shows.

According to data from the Federal Election Commission, Texas donors have contributed $53 million to Trump and $28 million to Biden as of Oct. 14. The data was released publicly on Oct. 23.

The differences are not so pronounced in Houston, though, where residents have donated nearly equal amounts to the two campaigns. Texans living in Austin and Dallas contributed more funds to Biden, while residents in San Antonio far out-raised funds for Trump over Biden.

Houston residents donated $200K more to Trump: 
Trump: $5.6 million
Biden: $5.4 million

Austin residents donated $3M more to Biden: 
Trump: $2.3 million
Biden: $5.3 million

Dallas residents donated $500K more to Biden: 
Trump: $3.9 million
Biden: $4.4 million

San Antonio residents donated $1.2 million more to Trump: 
Trump: $2.7 million
Biden: $1.5 million

Out of 21 Houston-area cities, only Bellaire donated more to Biden than to Trump.
