CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Another round of potential severe weather this fine Saturday. Many areas have experienced a gloomy and cloudy day, now, the afternoon heading into our evening hours are becoming more active around the state. There is a continued Marginal risk throughout much of Wyoming areas that potentially experience severe thunderstorms could see heavy rain, small hail and strong wind gusts. Tornado risk is a possibility but unlikely under the current circumstances.
Carbon, Albany counties are experiencing some isolated severe thunderstorms that are moving NE into Platte county. The North is also seeing some showers and storms in parts of Park, Big Horn, Washakie & Hot Springs counties.
As we continue into tonight, rain and storm chances diminish a bit around the state but there is still the lingering possibility of continued wet weather. Lows will be hanging into the 40s & clouds will remain as we head into Sunday, warmer/drier air will move into the northern and central areas. However still remain on the cooler end in the south with continued chances of seeing potential severe weather in Laramie county.
