Frosted Flakes: Baseball Monday, UFOs, and How Much is Enough? - Corn Nation

Good morning all! I’m a bit behind getting you this daily dose of work procrastination so there isn’t a ranch story today. Mostly, I’m just as excited as all of you that the Husker baseball team has forced a seventh game in the Fayetteville Regional and has a chance to advance to a super regional.

The big storyline for both teams will revolve around pitching. Who can? Who will?

Both teams will likely lean on several guys to get through nine innings. Nebraska may call Cade Povich back to the mound after throwing less than 50 pitches on Friday. Shay Schanaman being able to throw seven innings in the first game on Sunday looms even larger now as he likely saved some arms for tonight. Arkansas has played one less game than the Huskers in this regional, so there may be an advantage for the Razorbacks there.

Either way, Will Bolt’s team has the attention of college baseball fans everywhere.

Go Big Red!
