CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) - Warm yet cloudy day in Wyoming this Saturday. Temperatures hitting the mid-to-upper 70s across the state. However, as the afternoon went on rain showers and isolated thunderstorms showed up.
The system we have been tracking for the last couple of days has brought in some cooler temperatures heading into Saturday night and has already begun bringing some drizzle, showers, and thunderstorms to many areas in Wyoming. Saturday night looks to continue this trend and even bring the potentials of scattered thunderstorms in SE Wyoming.
Sunday: rain looks to get started widespread in the late morning and early afternoon. Starting on a light-scale, then becoming more organized in the afternoon. The Cold Front moving in will cooldown temperatures across the state 50s being the highs for much of the state. The system has substantial moisture as well which is fantastic for our drought conditions. Rain looks to increase in fall rate throughout Sunday afternoon mainly rain showers with an increased chance of thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening hours for much of SE Wyoming.
So make sure you have your umbrellas, rain coats, and boots prepared if you plan on heading out. Otherwise, it will be a perfect lazy day for Wyomingites.
