Finally getting significantly cooler weather moving into South MS, and the best news is it isn’t leaving soon. Today’s clear skies will carry into the night, leading to our coolest low in a while at 57 degrees. Winds remain light and northerly, and continue the cooling into tomorrow.
Expect a high near 79 with sunny skies and continued northerly winds for tomorrow, just about as nice as it gets it mid spring.
Saturday looks about the same, but we will see a southerly wind shift on the back end of the day. That’ll lead to a rapid rise in humidity into Sunday and Monday, the latter of which will be our next rain event. That’s due to an approaching front, which could bring thunderstorms, but is too early to determine severe weather chances. This front moves through quickly, but will pull another through mid-week. After that though, it looks like dry, cooler air will take hold again bringing in another great weekend.
