California is notorious for its high housing prices. We’ve gathered four apartments in the San Jose area for you to check out — all at $2,000 a month or less.
Cherrywood Apartments
Located south of downtown San Jose, Cherrywood Apartments is a complex with amenities that include an on-site laundry, a swimming pool, and a fitness center. There’s also on-site management, a package service outdoor space, and the apartments are cat friendly.
The 432-square-foot studio floor plan includes a kitchen with a dishwasher, and there’s a large walk-in closet to accommodate all your clothes and belongings. There’s also a patio or balcony space for private outdoor time. The rent comes in at $1,925 per month.
Creekside Apartments
Creekside Apartments, just a few minutes southwest of downtown, includes a swimming pool, fitness center, resident’s lounge, and on-site laundry. There’s also outdoor space for getting together with friends. Pets are welcome — up to two animals per apartment.
The one-bedroom unit has an in-unit laundry setup and balcony space off the living room. There are two unit options, A and B, and both feature plenty of storage space and room for entertaining. The A model is 650 square feet and starts at $1,985 per month, while the B model is 683 square feet and starts at $1,860 per month.
Park Branham
Head straight south from downtown San Jose to find Park Branham apartments. This complex has mature trees throughout, offering shade and tranquility to residents. Amenities include on-site laundry, a swimming pool, storage, and covered parking.
The one-bedroom floor plan includes window-unit air conditioning for those hot California days, ceiling fans, a dishwasher, and a private patio or balcony. The apartment also includes a spacious walk-in closet and a separate eating area. Monthly rent for the 640 square foot apartment is $1,995.
Sage at Cupertino
Just 15 minutes west of San Jose, you’ll find Sage at Cupertino apartment complex. This modern building includes quite a few amenities such as a business center, swimming pool, fitness center, and residents’ lounge. The building also has controlled access for safety and an elevator for convenience.
The apartments themselves feature clean, modern lines. The studio floor plan includes air conditioning, a huge balcony, in-unit laundry, hardwood floors, a dishwasher, and a walk-in closet. The monthly rent for the 435-square-foot apartment is $1,898.
